Excursions out with your dog are very common at this time of year, however would you consider taking your dog for a trip to an art gallery?
Queenston Arthouse
in Western Didsbury organised an extra special exhibition of doggy themed paintings and then threw the doors open for dog owners as well as their pets to relish a bit of culture as well as some pampering.
Gallery owner Laura Mayall said: ““We have done a series of events over the summer and I wanted this one to be light-hearted. People are a bit threatened by galleries and a bit threatened by art and I wanted to make it easy for people.
“There was a great dane in the pond, we had a sausage dog called Max, a bichon frise, schnauzers and Staffies. It was a great mix of dogs”
